At CMI, we all believe in giving, mentorship, working hard and continuing education. A group consisting of five teams got together to identify the core values we align with. In their words, "it was a party". When you all care about the same things, it's not hard to observe and document. Here are the results. - Kaye Youngren

OUR VALUES- THIS STATEMENT COMES FROM THE FIVE TEAMS

Kaye Youngren founded CMI in 1972. Her vision was to build a company with integrity. She is responsible for CMI's unique corporate culture and aligning individuals with her Core Values to grow a sustainable community. While what we do, and our tools for achievement, have changed since that time, our mission remains the same: to provide outstanding and reliable services to our clients with integrity and trust. Our clients and staff understand that CMI is committed to their success, and as the industry changes, CMI will continue to evolve without sacrificing its Core Values. CMI only succeeds through its clients and staff, and their triumphs.

At CMI, we build partnerships: partnerships with our clients, with our vendors, and with each other. These connections are the building blocks of our success, and our focus is to never let them crumble. At the core of CMI, you will find associates who work hard to serve HOA communities and each associate lends support to each other.

We created these eight Core Values to define the corporate culture at CMI. They reflect everything that we embrace and safeguard.

These Core Values will be relied upon when placing the "right" associates in the "right" position. When searching for potential associates, we are looking for associates that can identify with these Core Values, strongly emphasizing internal collaboration, companywide shared vision and goals, and ongoing employee development.

TO BEGIN WITH WE ARE ETHICALLY UNYIELDING

We are Ethically Unyielding. Our goal is to be transparent, open and upfront in every aspect of our business. We stand by our word and take responsibility for our actions. We are committed to delivering on our promises, because we want to be seen as a badge of honor for our clients.  CMI associates and clients can have faith in knowing that our goal is to earn trust and respect by doing what we promise.

HUMBLE

CMI is a Humble collaboration of great minds, but we prefer to stay in the background. We are here to assist our clients but we want our clients to take the credit for the jobs well done.

PASSIONATE, COMMITTED INSIGHTFUL LEADERSHIP

We believe Passion is a combination of drive and dedication. We are passionate about helping the communities we manage, but we also reach out beyond our walls to make a difference in our community. Our creative side sparkles most when our associates donate time to our volunteering and charitable fundraising events. CMI understands that we are part of a larger community, and we recognize our responsibility in giving back to the community as a whole."You can't live a perfect day without doing something for somebody who will never be able to repay you."

For 43 years and counting, we have provided Committed Leadership for HOA communities.  Yes, we are passionate and dedicated ... and quite frankly, we love what we do! This is what sets us apart from the competition. We're not afraid to think outside the box and explore all possible avenues to any situation. If we do not have the answer, we have the resources and connections to find the right one.

This is because CMI partners with the most experienced and talented associates in the industry and invests in continuing education to keep our knowledge current and our skills sharp.

Insightful means listening and understanding perceptions to have a very clear understanding of concerns. Our employees are trained to respond to client needs with efficiency and can help resolve issues that may come our way with confidence and ease.

 

DETERMINED AND DEDICATED

Determined is to have a strong feeling that you are doing something and you will not allow anyone or anything to stop you. CMI associates are determined to meet client expectations. Our highly trained experts work as individuals to meet our client goals or use their focused drive to engage fellow associates on the project until completion. We do this by being creative and innovative which adds a colorful side to CMI and sets us apart from our competitors.

We don't overpromise. We are Dedicated Problems Solvers who keep our commitments while following proper procedures so that we can deliver an excellent product consistently.  Consistency, honesty, and accuracy are key to earn clients' and coworkers' confidence. We are dedicated to supporting our clients and each other; we provide a reliable excellent product every time. If we do make a mistake, we make it right. Also, it is never "just one of us" solving a problem, but every CMI associate supporting each other every day.

RELIABLE, RESPONSIVE AND APPROACHABLE

Reliable means being there when needed. CMI associates are there to respond to emergencies, conflict resolution, account questions, and to process ideas.

We provide Responsive Communication. We want interactions with every CMI associate to be rewarding, helpful, respectful, and solution-focused. CMI associates share a sense of urgency when it comes to client matters and are dedicated to being available and ready to assist our clients.

Approachable means easy to talk to or deal with. CMI has an open door policy and provides multiple means for clients to engage our associates with their requests. Listening to the others without making assumptions is critical to quickly and efficiently addressing needs. CMI invests in state of the art technology. That technology combined with our enthusiastic associates who understand the urgent needs of our clients, provides CMI with the ability to respond quickly to customer requests or emergencies.

RELATIONSHIPS

Relationships are integral to what CMI does. From the relationships we nurture within our own organization, to the relationships we foster with our Board members, to our network of service providers, and the relationships we develop with our homeowners, we strive to maintain and strengthen these relationships to better serve our communities.

AND FINALLY WHAT SETS US APART IS THAT WE ARE UNIQUE AND UNITED

We are Unique & United. Through merging our diverse experience, skill sets (individually and cohesively) with fresh perspectives and respect for the thoughts and opinions of others and new ways of thinking, we can achieve the collective goals of both individuals and the company at large. As CMI associates, we all understand our roles in each unique HOA community. In fact, we willingly embrace creativity and are not afraid to "walk on the wild side" if it will enhance the client experience.

SO THEN, JUST WHO ARE WE?

To sum us up in five words it would be "A COMPANY WITH UNYIELDING INTEGRITY."  We all go the extra mile to provide superb service to our clients. We strive for honesty in all we do. We are compassionate to our other team members. We keep a sense of humor during the difficult moments. We are trustworthy- our word is our bond. We see possibilities when

Others see road blocks. We find a better, smarter, more excellent way of doing simple jobs and we turn the complicated tasks into accomplishments. We are demanding of others because we insist upon excellence in ourselves. We perform multi-duties, meet deadlines, keep our cool and still have fun.

CMI is simply made up of great and wonderful people. And, we just happen to have the best!  Well on reflection, it just didn't happen. We carefully considered each offer to a potential Associate. Each person made the decision to accept out offer of employment. Therefore this means that this is just not happenstance. We each bring to the table unique experiences, exceptional talents and abilities, and different points of view. However as we all come together, we have a responsibility to each other to ADHERE TO OUR CORE VALUES AS WE bring our finest efforts to the team.
